I would like to first and foremost thank you for taking the time to find out more about my candidacy.
We are at a critical time in the direction of where our government leads us, and this includes government at the local level.
While our Home Rule Charter form of government is in it's infancy we need to be vigilant to ensure that the foundations are solid as we attempt to fully implement this new government in Jefferson County.
Jefferson County Missouri has a checkered past receiving national media attention with accusations of being a home for the “Good Ole Boy” network.
As we look to implement the foundations of the new Charter we can no longer afford the mindset of the “Good Ole Boys”, and must instead vote for those that are willing to be held accountable for their actions, or lack of action.
As a resident of Jefferson County for all but one year of my life, the first, I will have the best interest in mind for my family and yours.
I will do all that I can to bring jobs and the opportunity for a quality education for our children, and grandchildren, while promoting lower taxes and less burdens for our businesses and private citizens.
We can experience a Win-Win, even in these trying times with a solid foundation to build upon and the hard work of those elected to office. But only if we hold those elected officials responsible and free ourselves of the “Good Ole Boy” mindset.
I ask now for your vote and confidence and hold myself accountable for your trust, and expect you to hold me accountable also.
